Overview
This seminar is designed to improve and enhance the effectiveness of brokers, property casualty agents, and general consultants. This seminar covers the basics of structural water losses, psychrometrics (the science of drying), demonstrations of over 16 state-of-the-art tools used in drying, and completing the restoration process to ensure the job is done properly.
Seminar Contents
The content of this seminar is divided into four sections
Section l — Understanding Water Damage. “Primary Damage? Secondary Damage? How do you contain it? How can you determine what is salvageable?
Section ll — “The Science of Drying” How do you assess the loss? Implementing the right drying plan.
Section III — Water Loss Damage Containment and Restoration. Theory and principals of drying, specialized processes, and demonstrations of over 16 pieces of drying equipment.
Section IV — Completing the restoration process. Drying logs, moisture mapping, documenting and closing the file.

Participants will be given seminar-related materials for their personal reference.
Instructor
Your instructor for this course will be Geoff Ganz, a New York State Approved Instructor. Geoff is the President of the Syracuse, New York, Stanley Steemer franchise. He holds over 18 years of experience in restoration and has 16 IICRC certifications, including Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, and Master Textile Cleaner.
