Trailor
Desiccant Dehumidifier
This is the newest technology available to dry properties out
much faster than any other method and is much less destructive
in its use. Installed in a trailor, this unit processes air through
tubing running into and out of properties.
These dehumidifiers can work in extremely hot temperatures and
very low humidity. They are very effective at extracting water
from diffucult surfaces such as cement. This unit dries most properties
in an average of three days, meaning more property is saved and
the building can be reoccupied quicker.
The operation
of the dehumidifier is based on two counter current air streams
flowing through its high performance desiccant wheel. Return air
from the conditioned space is drawn through the rotating wheel.
The desiccant adsorbs moisture from the air stream and returns
the dried air back to the conditioned space. As the wheel rotates
into the regeneration section, heated outdoor air removes the
moisture from the desiccant surface, which is then exhausted to
the outside.

Like the trailor model described above, these units work the same
for smaller areas. |
