Monitoring Devices

Stanley Steemer has invested great amounts of time and expeneses in obtaining and training with the use of the most technologically advanced monitoring equipment. This equipment monitors and detects moisture with precision, to make sure any restoration is 100% complete the first time. Since incomplete jobs can produce more damage and odors over time, this devices are invaluable.

Infrared Cameras
The most effective way to monitor the drying process is with an infrared thermal camera. An infrared camera is an invaluable tool in quickly finding and documenting moisture via infrared images. This camera will help identify "wet spots" and also accurately conclude when the job is 100% complete.

Thermo-Hygrometer
This device makes spot-checking relative humidity and temperature fast and convenient. Both the humidity and temperature sensors are housed in an extendable probe that retracts back into the unit.

DryAir Non-Penetrating Monitor
This amazing tool uses low frequency electronic signals without probes or pins that can damage surfaces. Ideal for detecting moisture content in wood, felt roofing, drywall, plaster and brick. Detects moisture through paint, varnish, wallpaper, tiles or roofing felt. An audible tone and meter with three scales indicate moisture content. There are no probes or pins to damage surfaces and an analog display provides moisture content readings.
