Water Damage

When water damage occurs, time is the most important factor in mitigating the loss and restoring the property without costly replacement. Stanley Steemer has upstate New York's most responsive team of professionals to assure you of an immediate response, 24 hours a day. In the event of a water loss, Stanley Steemer will provide the following:

• In less than 15 minutes of your initial call, you will speak with a certified restoration specialist to review the scope of the loss.

• We will advise the property owner of what to do to minimize the damage until our crew arrives.

• A crew of certified, trained and experienced water damage technicians will arrive at the damaged property within two hours of your call.

• We will pump our the freestanding water immediately then extract water from carpet padding and upholstery.

• We will install professional grade dryers and dehumidifiers to provide a controlled drying process of structure and contents, to minimize damage from mold and mildew. We have an extensive inventory, so no job is too big or too small. Our wide range of technology lets us install appropriate equipment for each situation, since no two water losses are the same.

• Use specialized instruments, including infrared cameras and moisture sensors, to locate hidden pockets of water and to technically monitor the dehumidification/drying process.

• Remove carpet and padding if deemed necessary. We will clean, dry and reinstall carpets and padding based on IICRC standards.

• We do not consider a job complete until the structure and contents are dry and conditions in which mold and mildew can grow are eliminated.
