Erie Insurance brings in Stanley Steemer to clean and dry the home

A home in Hamburg, New York, was severely damaged from water from a second floor toilet that had overflowed for quite some time. After receiving a call from the panicked homeowner, Erie insurance adjuster Heather McMahon suggested they call Stanley Steemer for the clean up.

Stanley Steemer’s immediate response unit was on site within 45 minutes of the emergency call. The situation turned out to be worse than the homeowner expected. The water from the toilet was contaminated and migrated down to the basement carrying bacteria.

After a detailed inspection of the property, Stanley Steemer prepared the homeowner for the mitigation. All affected porous material was removed and the open areas were disinfected and the structure was dry by the end of the third day.
