A
kitchen fire in West Henrietta caused minor smoke damage
to the upper level of a raised ranch home. Stanley Steemer
of Rochester was called in by State Farm’s Premier
Service Program to mitigate the damages and remove the smoke
odor.
Upon our arrival,
the crew discovered that most of the damage was limited
to the kitchen and dining room. There was, however, smoke
damage throughout the upper level of the home. All charred
contents were removed from the kitchen and all of the affected
surfaces were cleaned and deodorized. A thorough cleaning
of the walls and ceilings in the rest of the home was also
conducted.
It was necessary
to remove some of the contents from the home to be dry-cleaned.
All items that were removed from the home were inventoried
and a list was provided to the insured. The home and its
contents were completely cleaned and deodorized within two
days. The home was ready for all minor repairs and painting
by the third day. |
