The most heavily damaged floor was the second
floor, which required seven large LGR dehumidifiers and 37 airmovers.
The suites on that floor began to see patients again two to three
days after the damage occurred.
The first floor, which had heavy damage to the
walls and storage areas required two injectidry wall drying units,
10 large LGR dehumidifiers, a mobile desiccant dehumidifier and
42 airmovers. Because the contents were still usable, the first
floor suites were able to take all patients as the mitigation
took place.
Overall, the majority of the building was dry
on Friday, the fourth day after the damage, and the smaller wet
spots were dry by Sunday.
Seven different insurance companies were involved
with the damaged suites. The center features St. Joseph’s
Hospital Health Center’s Surgical Center, Clinical Wound
Center,Sleep Apnea Center and a modern Urgent Care Center. In
addition, the center features a diversified network of topnotch
physicians and providers.
