Tony
Crisafulli Agency Sets Customer Up with Stanley Steemer
to Mitigate Severe Damages Throughout the Home
A quaint
Cape Cod style home in North Syracuse suffered extensive
water damages as the result of a broken water supply line
in an upstairs bathroom. The pipe leaked for an undetermined
amount of time as the home was rented to landscaping workers
who returned to their homes shortly before Christmas.
As a
result, the entire home was affected by direct saturation
or secondarily by the intense humidity over the course of
many days. Upon discovering the damages, the owner of the
home went directly to his State Farm Agent, Tony Crisafulli.
While in the office, they told him to call Stanley Steemer
because they would get there the fastest. He called right
from Crisafulli’s office and technicians from Stanley
Steemer met him at the home 30 minutes later.
The
walls and ceilings of the home were all insulated and saturated
with water. To properly dry the home and mitigate further
damages, it was necessary to remove all the wet walls and
ceilings and get the wet insulation out. Due to the high
moisture content, a large trailer-mounted desiccant dehumidifier
was used as the most efficient method to dry out the structure.
After
six days of intensive debris removal and drying, the home
was dry, clean and ready for the reconstruction phase. |
